A little about me
Jan Timmons began web development in 2001 after many years spent in the technical writing and editing field.
Timmons' fascination with IT began while doing a computer internship at D.U. in 1988 for Bob Stocker. In 2003, she began formal training in web design through the HTML Writers Guild, a non-profit international association of web developers. Her training includes HTML, XHTML, CSS, Forms, Design Concepts, Photoshop, Web Design, and ongoing coursework.
In addition, Simon Lemstra has taught her many things about web standards and clean, elegant markup. Her colleagues assist with PHP or JavaScript.

Timmons' academic qualifications include: MS in Communications
and Marketing, MA in Counseling and Guidance, and
BA in English.
